At The Castle School we have something called D.E.A.R. Time, every Thursday at 11.45am. The stands for Drop Everything And Read. Everyone stops what they are doing and picks up anything to read in anyway they can. This is different for each class and each student. The focus is to encourage a love for books. It would be great if parents encouraged this at home. It would also be most helpful if you have any read magazines that are appropriate for children and young people that you could donate. If so please send them into your child's class teacher. This would be very much appreciated.
