World Book Day

To celebrate World Book Day, Durham Class created their very own read-aloud story videos. Each student chose a book they enjoy and practised reading it aloud.

Once they were ready, we recorded each student reading their story. The students then chose a background that matched their book, helping to bring the story to life on screen.

After recording the stories, we put all of the videos together into a special PowerPoint presentation and shared it across the school so that other classes could enjoy the stories too.

It was wonderful to see everyone sharing books they love. The project helped students practice their reading, confidence and communication skills, while also giving them the chance to be creative and share their stories with the wider school community.
