Keeping Safe Online

We all know that iPads, tablets, smartphones and games consoles such as Xbox, Play stations are a part of our daily lives now and they can be extremely useful tools. But, with all this access to the internet and social media, even when gaming, can put children at great risk.

To help reduce this risk we have put links to websites with helpful information to help protect children when using the internet as well as some leaflets on how to help protect children with popular social media sites. The National Online Safety website (link below) is just one example that has numerous links – one focuses on setting up new devices for children; around installing those all-important family settings for games consoles.  Of course, if you have any concerns or need some advice, please contact your child's class teacher or our Pastoral Team.
