Fabulous Fete!

On Saturday we had our school fete. To be honest, it felt more like a festival than a fete, with a selection of traditional and modern stalls, amazing food (put on by our very own Castle Hospitality and Catering Enterprise) and singing from the Castle Choir and music courtesy of the Castle Brass Band (Ably supported by Maestros' Leader, Sam Wyne). It was packed from start to finish with parents, pupils, staff and members of the local community. The weather was glorious and everyone had a wonderful time.

Adam Brown (The Hobbit; Pirates of The Caribbean) opened the fete and then stayed to speak to people and have the odd selfie. He was really lovely and showed real interest in the great things we do at the Castle.

A huge thank you goes out to all the staff, pupils and volunteers who gave up their time to help make the event such a success. A huge thank you also to everyone who turned up and spent their hard-earned money at the stalls.

We are still counting all the money and will let you know how much we raised as soon as possible.

Thank you for making the fete such a brilliant community event. I very much look forward to next year!
